Text Box: Artist Statement I design jewelry to be elegant, bold and unexpected. Most of my designs are not premeditated but instead a response to the materials I am surrounded by in my studio. I design jewelry in hopes of invoking a feeling in the wearer of confidence, happiness, sexiness, elegance, or distinctiveness. Most all of my pieces are made with the intent of standing out and generating conversation.* I derive inspiration from the world around me; be it nature, fashion clothing, home design or color. Consequently my jewelry is often a manifestation of what I am seeing or feeling. My hope is that you will have as much fun wearing my jewelry as I’ve had creating it. * Earrings can be made to match necklaces upon request. My philosophy typically is to pair earrings and bracelets or earrings and rings. Necklaces generally stand on their own with a simple understated earring (i.e. silver hoops or diamond studs).
