Concord has recently released a jewellery variation of its acclaimed C1 model, which is named Concord C1 Amethyst. It uses the same case structure as the standard C1, which is crafted from 18K white gold. Besides, the new timepiece is quite nicely decorated with 219 baguette-cut amethyst stones. These purple stones are placed all over the case and dial, making it look sorta cool. Moreover, chronograph push-pieces at 2 and 4 o’clock as well as a winding crown at 3 o’clock are also paved with fascinating purple stones. The overall weight of these jewels constitutes 13.8 carats.
The gem-set dial of the new C1 Amethyst watch offers an impressive array of functions. The hours and ,minutes are displayed by means of broad partially transparent light-toned hands. They are supported by a central chronograph seconds hand, clothed in blue. The seconds tick away in a counter, neatly arranged at 9 o’clock. The chronograph functions are indicated in 12-hour and 30-minute black counters, positioned at 6 and 12 o’clock respectively. The display is visually balanced by an extended exhibition window, indicating a date. Protecting the dial is a 3.3 mm thick sapphire crystal.
Housed inside the remarkable case is the same ETA Valgranges automatic chronograph movement that is COSC chronometer certified. The mechanism supplies a 48-hour power reserve. The new Concord watch comes fitted with a leather strap, which is matched in its color to that of gorgeous amethysts.
