In lieu of a full-scale presentation, last night DANNIJO hosted an intimate sit-down dinner to showcase their Fall 2012 collection. The jewelry, as always, was lust-worthy, and had a distinct bohemian deco theme. Vintage Mosaic beads, oxidized brass, turquoise, and black marquise crystals played starring roles in the collection, entitled Labryinth.

To go along with the informal vibe of the event, the designers asked a few of their friends to model the jewelry, and I was thrilled to be one of them, along with other muses like Lisa Mayock of Vena Cava, Leandra Medine aka The Man Repeller, Rachelle Hruska of Guest of a Guest, and DJ Becka Diamondsuch a cool group of ladies.

For Fall 2012 at New York Fashion Week, Jil Sanders more affordable little sister Jil Sander Navy presented a collection of modern brilliance.

While having elements of the sporty couture look that has been present at Jil Sander for the past three seasons, mixed in were more smartly tailored pieces; shirtdresses, wool overcoats and contrast collar shirts in a palette of salmon pink, tomato red and lashings of navy blue.

Accessories provided the quirks that differentiated this from the haute minimalism of the Jil Sander mainline and gave the collection a more everyday wear feel.

To celebrate the launch of their new website, luxury footwear brand Hogan has invited cult photographer and blogger Todd Selby to record a day in the life of 17 inspiring creatives going about their day-to-day lives and of course in a pair of Hogan’s finest.

Among the 17 creatives stars featured in Future Roots are Twin favourite, illustrator Quentin Jones, artists Gaia Repossi and Lola Montes Schnabel and director Benn Northover.
