The race is on between Jessica Simpson and ex hubby Nick Lachey to see who can wed first and most extravagantly. Nick is winning. This weekend, he and bride-to-be Vanessa Minnillo threw a lavish wedding shower at the London West Hollywood hotel in Los Angeles.
Held on the rooftop, celebrity guests including NFL star Matt Leinhart and the groom-to-be’s brother, Dancing with the Stars champion Drew Lachey, mingled and drank by the pool and flowering garden. White couches were brought in along with chairs and ottomans on the grassy lawn.
